Who We Are

Hi, I'm Kari Gillenwater

Strategic Business Coach and Certified Kolbe™ Consultant

Helping people find their “voice” and embrace their instinctive strengths to build their businesses is my passion.

My in-depth experience working with more than 40 study groups has given me the opportunity to work closely with and learn from hundreds of business owners and advisors, including some of the most successful in the industry.

Through this experience, I realized that no matter how diverse my clients are, they all want to grow their brands, their businesses and their teams.

So that is my focus - to help all my clients Get Out There and Grow!

The one constant in all that I do is helping advisors GROW, personally and professionally.

I help my clients shift their thoughts, their habits and beliefs to better serve them– because what got you here – won’t get you where you want to go. I help them understand their innate strengths and how to use them to be better communicators and more productive individually, and with their teams.

I continue to develop and manage advisor-centric study groups for my largest client, Lion Street and specialize in firm growth and development, and coach advisors on a wide array of topics.

In addition, I partner with business owners and advisors to help them grow and empower their teams through Kolbe™ and strength-based coaching. I also speak nationally on How to Build World-Class Teams and Using Kolbe™ to Grow Your Practice.

Meet Kari (like “Ferrari”)

Kari Gillenwater is known for her extensive experience running industry study groups and helping advisors accelerate their brands, their businesses and their teams.

Kari made her entrance into the financial services and insurance industry in 2005, becoming the Executive Director of the McGehee Group, Inc., an elite producer study group. This experience was the catalyst for her to eventually start her own consulting practice, Gillenwater Consulting Group, specifically designed to help business owners and advisors grow and succeed.

Her contagious energy and passion for connecting, collaborating and cultivating relationships makes her the perfect ‘spark plug’ to accelerate business growth and create a motivated working environment for independent advisors and their teams.

Meet Jillian

Jillian Linder serves as Executive Assistant to Kari and has built her career around providing support to executives and key decision makers, freeing them up to focus on revenue and growth initiatives. In her position, Jillian wears many hats, communicating with clients, managing multiple projects, strategic collaborators and members of study groups.
